Question:

The water won't come on in my dishwasher...??

When I turn on my dishwasher (very old), I can hear the motor running, but no water comes on.

Any ideas on what's wrong? We're moving in a month, so I don't want to replace it. Thanks!!

  1. What model and model number, depending on that it might be a clogged screen, a bad belt, a bad pump, all depends on the model and model number.

  5. the pipes in the back might be the problem

    either its disconnected or clogged.

  6. There is a small valve that lets the water flow into the machine.  It is electrically powered. The water line to the machine is probably clogged.  Try replacing the water supply line first and then give up and buy a relay cheap replacement.
