  1. in-between

  2. I think that Mike Scott, the lead singer is Scottish, he lives near Findhorn!

  3. welsh

  4. Who are the waterboys?

    Never heard of them.

  5. To correct previous answers they are a mixture of both.

Originally Scottish, they had several lineup changes (Irish folk musicians joined the band) and they achieved success in County Galway, and then the world.  They made their fame and fortune playing what Mike Scott termed 'the big music'.

  6. Irish, sort of!  They were formed in London and consisted originally of band members who were of Irish and American origin. Come on, never heard of them, "You saw the whole of the moon", that was theirs. They are from the 80's so if you are a teen, you probably haven't heard of them, just oldies like us that lived then will have heard of them!

  7. They're Irish.

  8. Scottish I think.

  10. actually they are both, some from scotland, some from ireland
