I'm heading off to Paris in January and was wondering if it snows? I live in Australia near the beach so naturally in winter, there is no snow. Does it ever get below 0 degrees so I'm thinking I should bring a ski jacket with me, yes?

  1. In Paris in January  the average high temperature is 7 degrees celsius/44 degrees farenheit, and the average low is 2 celsius/36 farenheit. It snows an average of four days in the month.

Your own personal comfort levels are probably a better guide to what you should wear in such weather than my own.

  2. the weather in France depends on the year. this year it was dry and warm (and now it's cold and raining) but it won't snow in Paris and It usually is kinda cold and sometimes rainy

  3. The weather in Paris is quite cold in January... Temperatures are often around 7°C in the afternoon and the nights are cold (often around or below 0°C).

Days are also short (between 8 am and 5 pm).

Light snow falls aren't rare but the snow generally melt within few hours...

The best place to have sunny weather is the Riviera, but generally with a lot of (cold) wind...

  4. cold like people who live on beaches in Australia would not believe.....yes to the ski jacket, yes to the fuzzy hat, yes to gloves, sweaters, leg warmers, tights, scarves and any other cold gear you can put your hands on

  5. Hi,its cold so wrap up warm.

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
