The weather is nice today...any advice about what to do outdoors? i live in ottawa?

You should just take a walk around town, you could go walk around the Rideau Canal, or walk around in the ByWard market, which is beautiful, and there's great food and shops. You could also go to the many parks around town. The ski slopes are still open.. There's a lot to do, just look around . Ottawa is a pretty vibrant city, there's always something to do!

Yes, indeed, it is beautiful today and a great time to be outdoors. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't dress for conditions because the sidewalks, pathways and trails are still icy, slushy, mucky and many are festooned with puddles the size of lakes!

So, wear good waterproof hiking boots and take a good walk around Parliament Hill. I would also bring a backpack (ruck sack) wear a light jacket and a good fleece sweater underneath.  That way, when the day warms up and it's too warm to wear your jacket, you can remove it, put it in your ruck sack and know you won't get cold because you will still be wearing your fleece sweater!

Got bus tickets? Grab a bus and take it someplace new; get out and wander through the neighbourhoods. Stop at a nearby cafe to warm up and sample a java or tea and snack on a scone, muffin or nutri-bar.
