  1. It's a good thing you are doing your research now.  NOTE:  There were no prices in the menu when we went & it's in poor taste to ask how much something is.

    Approximately $70 per person; my husband looked it up on the internet while we were in DC, under "fine dining".  Don't forget to include your state's taxes and any other taxes.

    My husband and I went there several years ago to celebrate his birthday,  It was around $100 AND did not include the tip.  [We tip 20%]   Maybe double this (not the tip) due to inflation, and don't be stingy on the tip.  We went to the one in Houston TX.

    I ordered Lobster and was pleasantly surprised to receive the WHOLE thing.  [in the event you want seafood, REMEMBER:  market price]

  2. I've eaten at two great steakhouses in my life. Ruth Chris and her brother's place  Sig's  in Port Sulphur, Louisiana.( Long gone)     I was once told if you have to ask how much....you can't afford it.  My wallet was emptied but I was full.

    Go for it and enjoy. It will be well worth the price.

  3. A bit on the pricey side... maybe worth a special Valentine dinner or something like that... check out this website, may it'll help:

    Happy dining, good luck and why yes, I'd love a doggie bag... LOL @;~}

  4. yeah youre gonna pay at least $30 for a steak.

  5. My wife and I ate there a few weeks ago for around $140 (including tip.)

  6. They are very expensive. The steaks run about $30-$40 each.

    Plus, all of your side orders (potatoes, veggies, and the like) are served a la carte -- that is, you pay for them separately, too. Note, however, that they are sized for two people, and even then, its a large serving.

    Expect a two person dinner to cost a minimum of $100, before the tip, and probably more, especially if you order appetizers, alcohol and/or desserts.

    However, it will be one of the best steak dinners you ever had. The food is incredible, and the service is amazing.

  7. I eat our quite a bit and Ruth Cris like Mortons and other franchise steakhouses are absurdly overpriced.  Not that someone dying for a good steak won't spend 30-40 dollars in any good restaurant, but if you want to add a salad, potato and vegetable you have raised that 40 dollar steak to a $70 meal.  Now assume that you want a drink before dinner, a glass of wine during and coffee and cake at the end, you have moved the needle to $100+ per person. and to me $240 (with tip) for 2 people looking for a steakand potato dinner is bizarre anywhere.

  8. Fairly expensive
