The white man will wear fake fur...?

The white men will wear fake fur and protect certain species as he plows down their habitat, polltues the water / air and disrupts the food chain of any given specie - protected or not.. He will dictate to native people about taking to much on a hunt, yet he killed 1000's more with his pollution and disruption. Comments?

Seems like you're trying to instill a little white/affluent guilt in some of us. Try again, it won't work with me. I have been to a few of the brown, black, and yellow parts of the world, and for the most part, they create their own eco messes with no help from us.

I think some of us are doing the best we can, some of us don't understand ecological issues, and some of us don't want to think about it.  We can't go backward in time, but we can try to do better as we go forward in time.  

My role as an environmental educator is to try to get young people to think about the consequences of their actions and to make good choices.  I think it's just like racism ... difficult to change the ideas of people whose minds are already made up, but we can educate those whose ideas are forming.

China is the current scene for large scale environmental atrocities. Last I checked, they are not "the white man."

BTW, imagine I might say "the black man." I may have to fend off lawsuits from those whom I terribly offended.

Cant have your cake and eat it too, off-white.

The natives I know pollute, over fish and waste the fish and have no goals so do nothing to help themselves except spend government (our) money.  But they are very family oriented.
