  1. I don't know because I have yet to see that movie. I really would like to see it though despite poor ratings. I saw the preview for it in theaters. Perhaps I need to take a trip to the video rental store, then I can accurately answer this question.

  2. what is that word??? sacrifice? we dont die for them...men want beauty... its not a trap....

  3. And the women on here say the Patriarchy is a bad thing, they should watch that movie to look at the alternative.

  4. I can't read German, and I think that you are barking with this one.

The Wicker Man is about a bizarre pagan cult. Christopher Lee is a big shot in it, and the sacrifice has nothing to do with a comment on 'dating' and marriage - unless you really are making an extraordinary connection.

You really do seem to be obsessed with women 'trapping' men in marriage. Stay away from it then - I am sure that women can live without you. In fact it really would be better if you could just be g*y because you appear to have no liking for women at all. I hope your 'fiance' is well aware of your views and what she is letting herself in for.

  5. This move is an absolutely abomination. It should be banned that such a c**p film is labeled as a 'remake' and using the name of one of the most brilliant films in history.

But Cass, if you think it's true in this ridiculous remake how women react in rel life...I'd seriously question the type of women you are dating.

  6. No.

  7. I think that, much like "Teeth," it represents the fear a lot of men have of women-- in this case, of independent women (because the women on the island could more or less survive on their own, using men solely for reproduction). I suspect that the writer/director of the movie had a bad relationship or fears that women are using him in some way, or that they hate him, and this plays out in the movie.
