The window has fallen loose from the motor in the door of my 2001 Ford focus, seller said it was dropped ?

Can I take the inside panel off the door and fix the window? it still has power, I can hear that the power for the window works. I'm thinking it has come loose from some clips that hold the window in place, has anyone ever done this themselves? I'm very mechanical and want to attempt it but would appreciate any advise

yup, it's the window regulator. These are very easy to install if you have any mechanical ability. I've done my pontiac once and my girlfriend's Camry once. You need to take out the door panel and remove the regulator. One (or both) of your clips may be broken holding the glass to the track. Try this website as I've ordered from them and have had nothing but great success with their products (www.a1electric.com). You can search their catalog for your car to see if they have your part(s).
