The women that needs the Job to survive, or little miss hot pants. who would you hire?

I have been trying to find a Job, but everywhere I go to apply there is always a little miss thing, Does not have any more experience than I do. Interview goes well. Little miss thing get's the job. Why. I call this Age discrimination. I'm lucky to have less than part time wages. this is the attitude I have been getting. what are your thoughts

It is annoying. You know what you are doing, totally professional, ect & the dumb bunny gets the job & proceeds to do a horrible job at that. Arrrrrggghhhh!!!!

My sympathy's! All I can say is that when you are in the interview you can mention that you are a hard worker, always show up & are on time, & will bring a level of dedication they might not find in another candidate.

Of course you can always lure the dumb bunny away by shaking a Coach purse at it & locking it in your trunk... Though I am not recommending this route! It is a nice visual however!

I can see your point. I work in a place where we talk to retirees all day, but guess who gets the job? Younger gals with big... Anyway, I am one of those young girls, and while I'm educated and well-qualified for the position (I work in marketing), I haven't seen them hire one older person since I've been here. It's just how it is, though it's not fair. I wish some places would hire older people because, honestly, my peers can be really annoying to deal with! I should know... our retirees get so impatient with us! Ugh....
