The wonder of the natural world -- so you believe it all evolved?

This morning on Radio 4 (UK) they were talking about whales which made bubbles and they used these bubbles to, as a group activity, gather all the fish they wanted to eat.

Every creature has its specific requirements which are met by the exact match.

Creation!

  1. So...an invisible flying "god" whipped everything together out of nothing, a mere 6000 years ago. And you believe THAT?

  2. Yes, and Santa Claus and pink fairies and the Easter Bunny....

Why is it that when people don't understand something, they automatically assume that a higher power must be at work?

  3. each creature's specific requirements are met by the exact match BECAUSE they evolved to be that way.. that's what evolution is all about.  they have specific requirements, so over the years, the ones that can function best according to those requirements, based on traits that they have (that are an exact match to those requirements), are the ones that survive to reproduce and pass those traits along to their offspring.  tiny steps over millions of years add up to.. voila!  all creatures are made to live perfectly in their environment!  we have a warped perception because we came here in the last second of all of this change and adaptation, so it appears to us that everything has always been this way, but not so.

  4. No I dont believe in evolution I believe God Created everything living on earth and all heavenly beings.

  5. Creation is true.  Although many evolutionists will defend it to the death, the first evolutionist didn't even buy into it...Darwin himself said there were too many contradictions in evolution to make it true.

Some may say that believing in a "supernatural power" is as intelligent in believing in Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy.  These are the same people that believe that millions and millions of years ago, there was nothing at all.  Then, all of the sudden, nothing reacted with nothing, creating a big bang (from nothing) and shot particles of something across the universe.  Then over millions of years, dust particles began to form together in local areas creating galaxies and eventually Earth.  Then on this ball of dust, now Earth, somehow, over millions of years, water became present and somehow became present in vast quantities (probably taking even more millions of years).  Soon (as in millions of years) unicellular organisms formed, then multicellular, then every species began to form (over the course of millions of years and survival of the fittest kicked in to high gear).  Then apes to monkeys, gorillas, mankind...etc.  Isn't it kinda funny how when evolutionists don't have an answer they always say "millions of years," because science has proven that millions of years is the catalyst to life.  You know what, you evolutionists are right!  It is so much more intelligent to believe in evolution than that Santa Clause thing.

    Problem 1:

There are universes that spin in opposite directions.  If there was a big bang, they would all spin in the same direction.

    Problem 2:

The sun is constantly shrinking due to the fact that it is burning itself.  If you go back (millions of years) the sun would be so big as to consume Earth, and probably other planets as well.  No life could have formed on it at all.

    Problem 3:

If mankind did evolve from apes (gorilla's, monkey's, whatever) how did we get here.  If it is a slow gradual process, then only one person was formed.  Who would that person mate with to create other men?

    Problem 4:

If makind did evolve from such, where did we get language?  Even if there were tons of cavemen sitting around, where did we get language.  When did their inherited language of grunts (which are how their grandparents would talk to them) turn into concise, intelligent speach?

    Problem 5:

Why are there still apes, monkeys, and such.  If we are the product of evolution, then why hasn't survival of the fittest kicked in and wiped them out?

    Problem 6:

Where did the concept of right and wrong come from?  If we evolved, then there is no right and wrong because it's survival of the fittest.  It's a dog eat dog world.  We do have a right and wrong...and I'm not talking about the right and wrong the government makes, I'm talking about you knowing when you are doing something wrong, even when no one is looking.

    Problem 7:

The law of "order to chaos" is violated.  Evolution is backwards.  We are not getting smarter, we are getting dumber, more violent, hateful, malicious, and destructive.  The constitution (for example) is an extremely complicated, beautiful, and intelligent document.  However, I highly doubt that we could come up with such a document today.

The answer to all these questions is that God made it all.

  6. evolution!

im sorry but i dont believe that one person created animals, plants etc in a matter of a few days

    it impossible

all animals have evolved over millions of years

  7. That is actually a different form of evolution.  It is referred to as behavioral evolution.  You see that type behavior is learned by trail and error.  In whales that capture fish like that the older teach the young.  If it is not passed on, then there wont be any catching fish with walls of bubbles.  There is an instinctive portion as well, after all the whale has to eat to survive.  You made another error.  They don't always gather all the fish they want to eat.  There is also a pecking order in whale pods.  When food is limited those futher down the ladder get less food.

I wont even bother to comment on the "Every creature ...." sentence.

So, you are saying, one day God was sitting around with nothing to do, saw some whales having a hard time catching fish, so he showed them the coolest trick, yeah make a bubble net.  Well if it worked so well for that one species did God try it with all the other species of whales?  Did he fail to teach all the other species the bubble trick.  Were some of the other whales Islamic and just simply refused.  Did the orca tell God, "no way, we orca are gonna chase, catch, kill and eat our fish like real carnivores".   And just when did God teach these whales the bubble net trick?  huh  Two thousand years ago?  A million years ago?  And what about the dominance order?  Wouldn't the almighty God make sure all whales where feed?

Edit:  I came back to check other answers.  Was very displeased to see RickJay's.  However, that accounts for the negative vote I got.  Rick, did not even complete his first thought without telling a lie.  Creationist and die hard Christians have been spreading lies about Darwin as well as the lies they spread about evoultion.  There is not a point in all he wrote that is indeed factual.

  8. all of it evolved over millions of years, it toke a long time to get to the number of species that now live on earth
