    1) Antonyms are words that are opposite in meaning, like cold and hot. Are who's and whose antonyms?

    2) Homonyms are words that sound the same (homo=same), but have different meanings.

    3) Context clues would be something specific to a text, something that would clue you in on what's going on or where. Like a paragraph describing what someone's doing, then "drip, drip, drip onto the umbrella"--gives you a clue that the person is outside and it's raining.

    4) Synonyms are two different words that mean just about the same thing. Expensive and pricey are synonyms.

    5) Who's = who is or who has; whose = that it belongs to someone. Both are pronounced the same way.
