The world ending dec 2011?? anyone heard about this??

Ok so a friend and I got into a really deep discussion!! And i guess like it was predicted way back in the day that the world will end dec 2011...now that kinda freaks me out because i am lutheran and in the bible it talks about the warnings of the end of the world...and one is a never ending war...and i feel like we are at a never ending war over sea's between iraq and iran...ugh! i know this is soooo silly but anyone else have any thoughts on it??

bad news :  it will end  in 2012

scientists say that planet X will crash into earth and end the world but 1 day before that Jesus will come save all who believes in him and they will go have eternal life with him and if they do not believe in him they will burn in h**l for eternity.BANG!!!!!

                   I have heard of this too, I saw a documentary on this subject on Discovery. The only difference is, I heard it was in 2012 December 21, 2012 to be exact. They say this date because a lot of ancient civilizations like the Chinese, Roman and Mayan to name a few, all agreed on that one date. If you were to research the Maya people, for example, you would be amazed at how accurately they predicted things like lunar and solar eclipses, down to the exact day, years before they took place ( pretty amazing stuff ). When you consider they had no modern technology like today. So to answer your question, no one knows for sure ( obviously) but it is pretty scary to think about, you see all these civilizations had one thing in common, their calanders were very accurate and actually all end on one specific date, December 21, 2012. I guess it all comes down to belief and one thing is for sure as a planet, we should definitely clean up or act. War is obviously a major factor in the world and it probably will never end, religion and differences in beliefs, will never go away. Pollution is my number one concern, but I don't know if by 2012 it will cause the end of the world, but if you add everything together war, pollution and global warming, one thing is for sure it's really scary.

There have been so many theories of the world ending before the new millennium. If you are going to live thinking about this, well you'll just be losing your time. What's meant to happen will happen.

I don't know if they are true o fake, but don't worry about these teorias. Try to live better than before, maybe they are false, but if they are true and the world finish in that day, you'll be sastifaced with your live.

Well, first of all.

Supposedly the world is going to end in Dec. 21'st 2012. So at least you've got another year.

Secondly, no the world is not going to end. I can't find the questions at the moment but there are plenty of people with all their backing reasons as to why.

yea i heard about it, come mayan or aztec priests though that the world will end in december of 2011 or 2010, not sure which one.

but i mean, its not true obviously, people thuoght the world will end at 2000, and yet here we are. its just words, i doubt the world will end in the next milllion years

I'm totally into Egyptian History! i believe it too ..LOL i cant see me dying any other way!??! but on December 12th,(or 21) ether way there is a 1& 2 ;o) 2012 the ancient mayan and egyptian civilization believe that the world is going to end.. the mayans were very smart .. they are the ones who invented the calender. either way  the world will end on the day of ur death...dont let a book or a prophet, fortune teller, or anyone else for that matter tell u when the world is gona end b/c when U die that is when the world stops.. but it will only stop for u..

I have heard the world coming to an end in 2012 and in 2060. These are just (the best way to say it, i guess) are hypothesis. No one really knows for sure. People have been predicting the end for years. And we only think of this war being neverending because we are now in it. And if the world does end that doesn't mean the EARTH is going to end, but the way we are living in society.
