The world is made of hunters and huntees. Do you agree. Explain opinion?

This is a question from my Most Dangerous game book. Im having trouble explaining this

  1. I remember reading that book back in high school. The way we discussed it was that it refers to the old "law" of nature: eat or be eaten. And its the strongest that survives. But the twist to the story was that the smartest survives. Hence the reason the main character gets to sleep in the bed in the end.


  2. The terms "hunter" and huntee" may be applied to aggressive or passive personality types respectively, but this is a gross simplification of human nature. I disagree that all humanity can be squeezed into one or other of these types. Buddhists, for example, could not be classified this way, so while some parts of the world may be characterised with the metaphor, others cannot. It is far too general to be of any value.
