Just read on Yahoo news that a 14yr old girl in America gave birth in the school toilets and tried to flush the baby down the toilet killing it. WTF.

What were the parents or teacher's doing, didn't anyone notice or hear what was going on.Unbelievable.

I actually feel sorry for the girl, she obviously went through the whole pregnancy and birth all alone.  There must be some reason why she felt she couldnt turn to or trust anyone with her secret.  I hope to god that she is helped rather than punished.

All kidding aside, I stopped reading the news years ago for the very reason you just pointed out. No news is good news, I am sorry to say.

she may have been a victim of rape, to scared and ashamed to go for help.
