Natural disasters have been happening since the planet formed, and they will continue to happen. A meteorite strike formed the ENTIRE GULF OF MEXICO and you're getting upset by an earthquake, a typhoon and a few tornadoes? The only reason the death tolls were this high is because those areas were heavily populated. Typhoons and earthquakes and tornadoes have been happening for about 6.5 million years, but in most of that time there weren't enough people around to notice or care.

This is natural. That's why they call it a "natural disaster'. Really, less drama is needed. There's nothing "goin on" except business as usual.

There have always been natural disasters. This, although deadly, is nothing truly out of the ordinary for the earth. Do not fret- the world is not coming to an end.

My own personal view is this: when the world becomes so vile and over crowded the man upstairs decides its time to clean his house thus all the disasters. Its just ashame that so many innocent lives are lost but I guess its hard for him to cull out all the bad seeds

Yea, nothing like this has happened since at least 1974!  Surely this has to be mans fault this time!

Nostradamus and the Mayans both predicted 2012 would be the end of the Earth.  The end is near.......
