The worlds ending? 12/21/2012????

I keep hearing from almost everyone that the world is going to end on 12/21/2012! I'm not sure what to believe anymore though! Is this just like 6/6/2006? I know I shouldn't worry but I would really like to know, is the world going to end?? Or is this just another myth?

It is some old prophecy telling us that Armageddon will happen on that day. Maybe it was Nostradamus who foretold it, I have no idea. But I believe that some technology will be invented or revealed on that day that will EVENTUALLY lead to the world's downfall. That's my belief, its a creepy and weird thought that I'm not looking forward too.

The world is ending because of the pollution, global warming, wars... not because of the date!

Don't know about it ending, but the universe is going to line up in a way it hasn't in a very long time.

Well.. Its up to you if you would believe it or not. Most of the people i meet online believes and totally freaked out. I dont believe it but then again.. They said the world is going to end because of some serious flood and the earth will line up with the sun.. Causing us to be involved with the sun's total heat.

But we wont know the truth unless that given date comes..

thats when the ancient mayan calendar ends. they predicted this a long time ago.. its interesting but so was Y2K

It can't end on 12/21/2012 because there are only 12 months in a year.
