The worth of a skeleton key i found????

im a REALLY positive its a skeleton key, i can tell its has that particular shape, no time to upload pics i need answers fast! i want to know the worth of this skeleton key. here are some deatils:

silver color, pretty shiny , there is like one big jewel on it the size of like an average button on people shirts, like those grandma clothes, followed by speckled crystals i think with various colors or redwhite and bits of blue. found it my garden buried like 4 ft in the ground, as in just plain digging for fun. i think its from the 18th century maybe earlier? i want some answersfast to see the worth or estimated price for a key really old but in good condition. its not a FAKE as i inspected detailed carvings on the metal and weight. the jewels as well reall too that was in it, so itsnot fake for what toy would come with expensive gems in a toy!

u didnt say which country / place u're from.  if in uk / europe, u can approach the auction houses to get a valuation.  if usa not many cities have such valuation shops.  but main cities - there're many.

u can also check the history of your homestead. was there a settlement etc.  then u can pinpoint its origin, background.  if u can post a pix it may help as i know a little abt antiques.  

it maybe worth a fortune or a small one at least.
