okay i'm making a pricing list to help me know about how much i need to save up for, and i was wondering if a younger ferret would cost more than an older ferret or vise versa

no not the cost of the items needed the actual ferret its self, i'd perfure to get a kit so i can train it more easily but a one year old is okay too so if u can give me a pricing range (example: 50-400 dollars) then that'd be great

thanks for your time and responces

  1. Younger ferrets are generally more expensive, you're right.

I've seen pricings on young ferrets (kits) range from about $100-200.  Sometimes you can pick up a pair for almost the same price range, especially from a shelter that wants to keep them together.

However, this depends on where you live and what options are available to you.  Personally, I'd go with a breeder or a shelter over a pet store, even if it's more expensive.  Pet stores in general (and the farm that they typically receive their ferrets from) are known for not treating ferrets properly.  It's better to do your business with an ethical company.
