Theinnercircle primed to taste success in Bookmakers Maiden
Theinnercircle is going to complete his second hat-trick by winning Stadium Bookmakers Maiden at Oxford racecourse on Thursday night, April 12.
The R. Baker-trained black dog’s last two success ventures during March 2012 granted him a favourite place in the betting market. Now, the dashing dog is keen to maintain that spot by finishing first in tonight’s mega marathon.
Containing £150 in the prize purse, the Open Race over a distance of 450 meters is scheduled to start at 19:50 (GMT).
Ahead of the competition, Theinnercircle looks to be quite confident to outpace his rivals including Roseville Bullet, Sawpit Sydney, Winetavern Tadgh, All Wonders and Gripping Stuff.
The two-year-old novice runner owns an epic track record. Throughout his career, he has not gone beyond second position yet. This is indeed a marvellous achievement by the son of Burnpark Champ out of Killourney Twist.
The maverick hound elegantly finished second in his maiden outing on October 3, 2011. He moved forward to win the next three races in a row during November and December, registering his first fabulous hat-trick.
The brilliant dog again earned a runner-up position on March 12, 2012. He then stepped ahead to bag a couple of consecutive victories in the same month. Another hat-trick is on the cards and Bookmakers Maiden will be instrumental in this regard.
Among the hot favourite hound’s competitors, Sawpit Sydney and All Wonders will also be looking to seal success in the race.
Sawpit Sydney is also on a hat-trick. The D. Hunt-trained black dog also attained two consecutive triumphs in March 2012 after registering a marvellous hat-trick during January.
All Wonders pulled off two back-to-back victories each in November 2011 and January 2012. J. Meek’s blue dog moved ahead to win one more race in January. He finished first nicely in his last start on April 6.
Thus, a neck-to-neck competition is expected tonight. Theinnercircle is required to unleash utmost effort in order to pass through the challenges that his rivals are likely to pose on the track. Good luck to all the contestants.
