  1. Okay im not trying to be gross, but I had a bubble on my cartilage too. It turned out that it was puss, i know gross.....i cleaned it and it eventually popped and went away. I hope this helps

  2. its a keloid

jus clean it and make sure u do or it will get infected

  3. How large is it?

How long have you had the piercings?

How were the piercings put in?

please add more detail then I can help

  4. huh

  5. Could be anything from infection to scarring. If it is infection, you could soak a cotton ball in saline solution or warm, salty water, and sit it gently on the piercing. Clean the area twice a day, with antibacterial soap and warm water and a cotton swab or Q-tip. Dont dry with a towel, use a tissue or clean paper towel.

Best bet though is to go back to your piercer and ask them, they'd be able to help you more, because they'd know exactly what it is.

  6. I had the EXACT same thing happen to my cartilage piercing

I got a bump on the back of it and it just wouldn't go away no matter what i did...

I tried sea salt soaks, chamomile tea compresses

i mean everything and it just would not go away

well I went down to my piercer yesterday and he put in a barbell instead of the captive bead ring i had in because he said it was probably getting hit too much and this has worked out soooo much better

I guess it popped when he pulled the ring out cuz now its gone

my hair does not get caught in it anymore its easier to handle

i would try soaking it in warm salty water for 10-15 minutes or try chamomile tea compresses

you even may want to try tea tree oil and putting a drop on it

you may just have to pop it

but try the things i suggested before you pop it and if that doesn't help, then go back and ask your piercer what to do

I'm sure they will be glad to assist you :]

p.s Just because there is a bump does not mean that it is a keloid! heres a link that talks more about it:

Hope that helped, and good luck!

  7. It's called a keloid, same thing happened to me wit my cartilage jus go to a store called GNC and they hav this thing called Tea Tree Oil get that and your bump should go away by a week and a half. Get a Q-Tip dip that in the Tea Tree Oil and rub that on your cartilage and tragus
