Thelobstercatcher expected to win Midshire Communications Beginners´ Chase
Thelobstercatcher is favourite to win the Midshire Communications Beginners´ Chase at Worcester in England on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. The class-4 winner will get a cash prize of £2,599 in the end.
The going will be good in the 2 mile 7 furlong race and the proceedings will start at 18:20 GMT. There will be a total of 10 runners seen in action today and they will have no problems with the track condition, which is good.
Although there are some decent runners roaring to win the event at Worcester, Thelobstercatcher has got the best chances of doing so. He lacks consistency, but has the tools to challenge the best in the business. This is why the bookies have given him a

The eight-year-old gelding has participated in a total of 28 events, but his strike rate is not impressive at all. He has only managed to win four races whereas finished third on the same number of times. Moreover, he has also finished runner up on six times,

Just three events later, Thelobstercatcher brought up his maiden victory in the sport. He was unable to continue delivering such results with consistency, but his form in the ongoing season has been really good.
The start to this year was not a good one for the seasoned runner, but he made a strong comeback afterwards. He has been displaying excellent skills, but is yet to win his maiden race of the 2012 season. He has a decent chance now and will pair up with veteran
jockey, Richard Johnson.
