i'm getting a free camper from a family member. i'm gonna turn it into like a teen hangout area for me and my friends. i was wondering what kind of theme i could do. i was thinking:

brown, teal, and green

black, white, and an accent {pink, green, or blue}

or pink and brown.

what do ya think? any tips on making it cozy and fun and young? and how to decorate it?

any good help is appreciated!

  1. I think you should use a whole different set of colors!

    Reds, yellows, blues and greens pop out in my mind. But choose  maybe two main colors, and two accent colors used for the accessories.

    Bean bag chairs, butterfly chairs and a whole bunch of other chairs that don't match yet still are within the color palette allows a room to still have a theme and character.

    Party warehouses have great party accessories, that are even great to decorate a room with! Or you can go to Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc. and find some clearance stuff. You'd be surprised at the amazing finds you can find.

    If there is a fridge, keep snacks there for when people come over. If there is anyway to have power in there, get some funky lights and a tv, maybe even a videogame console. Everyone will want to come!

    Also! You and your friends can paint the outside of the camper together. Words, patterns, ANYTHING! It will be your guys' creation!

    Good luck!

  2. bright colors are happy, which would be good for a chill spot.

    try having something like pink and greens. teals and yellows. fun funky kind of colors.

  3. My solution was a theme for the door.  "under 20 only allowed"
