What about Famous singers, everyone could dress up and you could have karaoke and stuff.

How about Morp (That's Prom spelled backwards). Everyone has to wear crazy outfits like inside out or backwards clothes, missmached socks, or crazy hair-dos. It's fun because everyone looks goofy and nobody is judgemental about what everyone else is wearing. Also, it's inexpensive. You can mix and match clothes from your own closet or go to a thrift store. That way, everyone is able to attend. Money is not a problem.
