Theme parks and Cameras?

When you go to Disneyland, CA Adventure, Disney World, Universal Stdios, theme parks, or when you are on vacation trip. Is the rechargable battery in the camera good enough or do you need an extra one?

  1. depends on how many pictures you plan on taking. A full charge should be good for one day. Considering your only taking pictures and not Video taping. You might want to bring an extra battery along to be safe. You will get ripped off if you buy a camera or accessory at the park!


  2. It's always best to take a spare set.  You'll never know how many pictures you'll be taking so it's best to be prepared.  Most parks do sell batteries, memory cards, and film but at a pricey rate.

  3. depends on the type of battery, condition of the battery on how you use it. on my nikon i can get anywhere from a day to several days worth of taking pictures.  if you have an older battery or might not be able to fully charge it every night, then i would suggest to carry a spare. my rule of thumb, is always carry a spare. although i have only needed to use it a couple of times, i have been very happy to have it when i have needed it. plus if you forget to turn off your camera you waste your battery really quickly.
