Theme parks in southern California during the summer?

Me and my friends are going to Disneyland but since it's only one day we decide we want to go to other places too.One other choice was Universal Studios theme park.Any other suggestions besides Six flags?We can't go to Sea world either.

well you could go to both disneyland and california adventure

or make it a day going to universal studios and go catch a movie or a bite to eat at the city walk

You can always go to Raging Waters or Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. You can also go to the Santa Monica Pier, but you're probably better off going to the LA Zoo. Or try a Museum, the California Science Center has free admission everyday, and it's a lot of fun.

P.S. I would go to Six Flags instead of Universal Studios. And if you do go to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, definitely ride The Tower of Terror.
