This is really cute, kind of a girly animal theme! :)

  2. petting zoo! All the adults dress up like smelly animals and the feed them oats and pet them.

  3. if you do the cowgirl theme you can buy the guitar wilton hannah montana cake pan and make a cake you dont have to decorate it hm just deco how ever you want

  4. For my twins first bday which will be in a couple of months I am doing a butterfly theemed bday...  A cowgirl theme will be really cool!!  If she likes cowgirls and horses i say go for it!

  5. She really won't care either way to be honest.  I always did balloons, animal plates and napkins and that was it.

  6. if she loves water then it would be nice to have a luau-themed party.

  7. Well you could make everyone wear a dolphin helmet and make the flipper noise.  Eeeee eeeeee eeeeeehh eeeee!

  8. Animal theme?

  9. A cowgirl theme is cute or a girly, outdoor camping theme would work. If you're worried about the cake, go to Kroger or Publix or a custom cake place and they will do whatever you want cake wise.

  10. you can do a little pool, fill it with those rubber duckies and they can find the sticker underneath and match the prize to that sticker.

or you can do something with apples, red ones have a bigger prize and the green ones are a smaller prize. they have to grab an apple out of the pool.   one year olds love taking things apart and they love being outdoors. How about a sand box for some kids, pool for the others. you can have like 4 things for them to do to keep busy.

Maybe rent a pony or something (if you have the money)

From Toy Story you can have the cake made up as that cowgirl

    Can't remember her name...

get a pic on line and a local store can copy it onto the cake.

Here are some thoughts I found, don't know if they are quite what you are looking for.  There are more themes if you look under 'Animals' and such, maybe you could browse on your own - I'd post links, but I keep finding a ton of cute ones and would probably run out of room!  Good luck in finding something that fits what you are looking for!

  12. Go to birthday express on line and they have a lot of cute cowgirl decorations including cake toppers. You could dress her up in a little cowgirl outfit.    Another idea is a luau.  You could buy flower lays, flower garland, starfish decorations, etc.  You could put a little hula skirt on her with her bathing suit underneath and a fake flower in her hair or a flower head band.   If the weather is still nice you could have it outside and have a baby pool set up for the kids to play in.  You could place gold fish bowls on the tables and she would love watching the fish swim around sense she likes animals and then you could put the fish in her room when the party is over.   Right now a lot of the luau decorations are on sale because its the end of summer so you should be able to get a good deal on them.  If you would like feel free to email me and I could give you a lot more ideas if you would like.

  13. Honey, she's 1. She's not going to notice, believe me.

An easy theme should be sea creatures though, since you said she likes the water. You aren't going to find many sea creature plastic plates and cups and stuff, but that should be pretty easy to request a custom cake to at Baskin Robbins or something, and a place like Party City should have at least some decorations that have to do with dolphins or fish or something.

But when it comes right down to it, she really won't care.

  14. lol...I was just looking online for stuff for my son's 1st Birthday!

How about a safari theme:  http://www.celebrateexpress.com/celebrat...

    Pink cupcakes:

Or just a girly "1st Birthday" theme:  http://www.celebrateexpress.com/celebrat...

I'm going to do a monkey theme for my son (http://www.celebrateexpress.com/celebrat... and have a monkey as his main cake and a banana as him smash cake.

  15. Some places make three D cakes she could get the cake in the shape of a hat. you have to do a little digging on line and find different places in your area who do special cakes. Cowgirl sounds cool. but a luau also could be great i did that for my daughter first birthday party they have grass skirts for the lil ones and lays every thing you need try this site.
