  1. There's not really enough information to provide a specific answer to your question. The best answer I can give you is that you should check with your state's department of natural resources (DNR)/Fish & Wildlife Department. They'll publish hunting regulations for your state that explicitly state which birds can be hunted/killed and what it is legal to hunt them with. And if you call them and ask them they'll be able to answer your question for you.

  2. Well killing your state bird is illegal. And any scavenger birds are illegal to kill. I never thought about getting in trouble with the law when shooting birds. To me it was always if the bird caused no harm then it should never be shot, like a dove. But blue jays and wood peckers and mocking birds and anything else that makes obnoxious noises deserves to die.

  3. if you cant figure that out on your own u dont need to be shooting nothing

  4. Common pigeons are generally considered a nuscience species and can be legally taken by anymeans necessary, including a pellet gun (so long as local laws permit the discharge of a pellet gun).

Crows, and starlings can also be taken in some states with a pellet gun.

You need to check with your local DNR and state officials to find the applicable laws for your specific area.

  5. s***w birds. Shoot squirells. Amateur.

  6. In most states blackbirds may be killed year-round if they are "commiting depradation" (pooping) on your crops or property.

It's hard to prove ANY blackbird isn't or hasn't just pooped on something, so it's fairly safe to shoot them....Particularly since the bird-flu type viruses have appeared. Go to the sporting goods counter at Walmart and pick up a free copy of your states game and fish comission hunters guidebook. It will list all possible options for you.

  7. Most birds are illegal to shoot inside the city limits. Only if a bird becomes a nuisance is it acceptable to shoot it I believe. Squirrels are better to shoot anyways and more challenging. I wouldnt be shooting a pellet gun inside the city if I were you(if you are in the city).

  8. If you live on like a ranch or a farm where what happens on the farm stays on the farm, I really don't think it matters. Just don't shoot owls or hawks because people DO notice when those go missing, plus they're entertaining.

  9. the chicken that you choke most often.
