Arsenal winger and England international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 has gone on to admit that his performances for his club, could impact his chances of representing England.
The Gunners first choice winger was part of England’s qualification campaign towards the Euro 2012. During the qualification stages, Walcott went on to make five starting appearances in the eight games that the team player.
The player was once again in the middle of things last week, as he helped set up a goal for Ashley Young in the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Montenegro-c2959. The goal saw England end the game with the final score reading two all and in doing so, the Three Lions secured their
spot in the Euro 2012.
Despite featuring in so many games for the team this time around, Walcott is still taking the cautious approach. The player is yet to overlook the fact that he was dropped from the country’s World Cup squad last time around and since then, the forward has
been looking to make a name for himself.
As it stands, Walcott feels the only way he can win both his managers trust, is if he produces impressive displays for both Arsenal and England.
When talking about his chances of playing in the Euro 2012 and how his club form could affect his international career, Walcott is quoted to have said: “I think firstly you’ve got to play well for your club”
“The manager will pick players on form so I’m not going to look too far ahead after what happened to me a couple of years ago [with the World Cup squad].”

“The manager picks players in form, which means you always get a chance to play and show what you can do.

“Hopefully we can take that into the tournament when it comes to it. Firstly I’m going to be concentrating on Arsenal after the poor start we’ve had.”
Having said that, the player then turned his attention to the upcoming friendly games that England were going to participate in. Those games are going to be a test for the younger players in the squad and many believe that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello would use an alternative
to Walcott during those games.
Arsenal are not going to allow Walcott to participate in meaningless friendly games, in order to prevent unnecessary injuries and the player seems to be on par with that. When talking about the possibility of picking up a knock or two, Walcott went on t
add:
“Injuries might happen, or he could play different players. When it comes to it I’ll focus on that, but my first priority now is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429.”
