Theo Walcott deeply embarrassed by Newcastle United tie

Theo Walcott, winger for Arsenal, has stated that his entire squad was ashamed and could not look their manager in the eyes, after the Gunners let their first half, four goal lead, slip against Newcastle United last weekend.
Walcott opened the scoring for the Gunners in the first minute of the match to put Arsenal in the driving seat. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 scored twice to put
the Gunners four points up, even before the half hour mark was reached at St James Park.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-c3451 Diaby’s second half red card and two controversial penalties by match referee, Phil Dowd, changed the course of the game. Newcastle United managed a record breaking comeback. Arsenal became the first team in Premier League history to give away
four goal lead and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 claimed that he was bitterly disappointed by the result. Walcott said, "None of us wanted to look the boss in the eye, that's for sure. It was such a disappointment. When you are 4-0 up and want to win the League, it shouldn't
happen."
However, the League leaders Manchester United also suffered their first defeat of the season against the bottom placed Wolverhampton  Wanderers and Theo Walcott admitted that United’s loss did eased up the pressure on Arsenal players.
The English winger claimed that the Wolves win over United did help him recover from the shocking game at Newcastle United because it was a point gained for the Gunners. He commented, "We've gained a point on United, that's how I've looked on it. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952
did us a favour. When we landed back at Luton from Newcastle, we all put on our phones and had a little check at the United score. Everybody had grins on their faces. It changed our mood and the manager's mood as well. It's a point gained.”
Arsenal is well placed in the Premier League title race. Walcott predicted that Manchester United, who are only four points above the Gunners, will surely loose a few points in the future. The upcoming week will show if his predictions come true.
