Arsenal winger, Theo Walcott has gone on to express his delight with playing alongside the younger players at the club. He has gone on to state that he is highly impressed with what he has seen so far and is looking forward to playing alongside the players next season.
The forward has gone on to praise the duo of Miyaichi and Jenkinson in particular and has admitted that both the players have a rather bright future at the club.
Miyaichi has already gone on to prove just what he is capable of, as he spent a season with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 in Holland. During his stay with the Dutch side, he went on to win almost everyone over in the country and was even being asked to come back in for another loan spell.
When talking about Miyaichi, Walcott is quoted to have said: "I don’t like comparing myself to other players, every player is different. He wants to be his own player, he is a confident lad and will hopefully have a good career at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429."
It is being rumoured that the duo of Walcott and Miyaichi could be played on the pitch at the same time and with their combined pace, they are destined to wreck havoc left, right and centre.
However, Walcott seems to be rather humble about the situation, as he added that Miyaichi has a few tricks up his sleeve, that he could try learning from the youngster.
Walcott added: "He has got a few step-overs more than me, I don’t do any! That is maybe something I could bring into my game."
The twenty two year old then turned his attention to Jenkinson and went on to add: "He looks very confident and it is great to see. He is not shy at all which is nice for a new lad coming in, especially at a young age.
"It’s a bit daunting at first but all the players have helped bed him in and that showed in his game [in Asia]. He is very positive and I enjoyed playing with him."
It seems like the pre-season tour of Asia has gone on to highlight some hidden talents present in the Arsenal locker room. The younger players at the club have been given ample opportunities to prove themselves and some of them have gone on to ensure their spot in the team for next season.
The Gunners also happen to be well equipped with wingers and hopefully this will just help the team play a far fiercer and fast paced game next season.
