The Arsenal winger revealed that he thinks that Spurs are feeling the pressure as Arsenal are pushing up the table, something that is encapsulated by Tottenham’s current drop in form in the English Premier League...
Walcott has come out and made it clear that Arsenal can definitely push on and grab the third place in the English Premier League table as Tottenham Hotspur feel the pressure of the final few matches of the season. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873
was at the centre of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 team which recently gained two crucial wins in their last two league matches.
Arsene Wenger’s men grabbed a last minute goal at Anfield to get all three points at Merseyside but after that they played against Newcastle and this time around it was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 who got the last minute winner to send Arsenal
into the fourth place spot. Wenger’s main aim this season has been to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League place but such a feat still remains in question as there are ten matches left in the league season and Arsenal still have to play some tough
fixtures such as their home fixture against Manchester City at the Emirates stadium.
Walcott said, “We want to win and make this Club into a club it should be. It's been an up-and-down season but it's the way you finish that matters. Tottenham, we're breathing down their necks now and hopefully they can feel it.
I am sure they are slightly worried. They have some top-class players as well and no game is easy in the Premier League. We will find it tough going away to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019, so we will see what happens.”
He added, “We won't get too carried away with this result [against Newcastle], we just want to push on and keep getting the three points. Then we will see where it takes us. It's really important [to claim third] and hopefully
we finish above Spurs as well. That is an even bigger bonus for the fans especially. It will be a very good year definitely. We are only one point behind Tottenham and nobody would have thought that a couple of months ago. It just shows how strong we are not
only as a team but as collective individuals as well."
