Theo Walcott tips Arsenal to win against Wolverhampton Wanderers
Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has tipped his team to collect their first win in three games against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday, 10 November.
Arsene Wenger's team are third in the table on 20 points, five behind leaders Chelsea, but their last two games have ended in defeats.
On Wednesday, 3 November, Shakhtar Donetsk handed Arsenal a 2–1 defeat in the Champions League.
Four days later, the team failed to collect any points at home to Newcastle United, who fought to earn a 1–0 win at the Emirates Stadium.
Walcott, who signed for Arsenal in 2006, has enough experience in the Premier League to know that his team's form will inevitably dip from time to time during the season.
"Football is a great game, you have ups and downs, with clubs like us slipping up," the former Southampton player told Sky Sports ahead of Wednesday's away trip. "However, there are plenty of teams in it still, but we are not going to look too far ahead.
We just want to concentrate on every single game, and take a step when we can. It is in the past now, we lost, but the great thing about football is there is another game around the corner. We have got a game on Wednesday and we can amend the disappointment."
Finishing technique constantly improving
The Englishman has scored an outstanding seven goals in five starting appearances this season, having come off the bench four times.
The 21-year-old, whose ascendancy has been long-awaited among football pundits, said he was constantly picking up ways in which to improve his game, not only from his own teammates.
"It is not about just watching your own team-mates, but it is picking bits out of other people's games, like Didier [Drogba] — he is one of the top goalscorers I have ever seen. For me, he is a fantastic player and hopefully one day I can be up there and
score as many goals as him."
