Theo Walcott wants key players to stay at Arsenal and for more talent to come into the club

The duo of Fabregas and Nasri have been linked with moves away from the Emirates for quite some time now, however Walcott seems to be hoping that the midfielders stick around a little longer. At the same time, Walcott has gone on to state that he is hopeful that Arsene Wenger will go on to bring in a number of new signings this summer.
When talking about the situation at the club, Walcott is quoted to have said: "It's important to keep all of our best players and it's important for players to come in as well"
The player then went on to mention that last season’s efforts gave the team a much needed push and they now believe that they can go all the way in the future.
Walcott then added: "Knowing that we were nearly there [last season], the last couple of months it went away from us, we need to know what we did wrong there.”
However, the winger seemed adamant to the fact, that Arsene Wenger knew what he was doing and that if he felt that changes were needed after watching the team in pre-season training, he would go ahead and makes those changes.
"The boss will see what the players have got in pre-season matches and see what they have got to offer this season.”
"The boss knows what he's doing, he's done it year after year. Us players need to go on and win something, because it's been a long time."
However, despite having said that he wanted both Fabregas and Nasri to stay, when directly asked if he felt the midfielders would remain at the club, he seemed to take a different route.
"I don't like to get into talks about other players, they make decisions by themselves.”
"You just want to keep your best players and attract players as well. Only time will tell what's going to happen.”
Based on the recent developments that have taken place at the club, it seems all the more likely for both Fabregas and Nasri to stick around at the club for at least another season.
Nonetheless, given the nature of the football world, anything is still possible.
