Theory Test?

Question

I have my theory test tomorrow and I was just wondering about the Hazard Perception part.

I know you click when you see obvious hazards but do I click when I come to mini roundabouts, sharp corners, when theres lots of parked cars??

Ok.

The point of the hazzard perception test is that you can identify hazzards. Basically everytime something happens that makes you need to do a hazzard drill, put your brakes on, steer out the way etc..

So if you are behind a car coming up to a junction and the brake lights come on, that is when you click. Quite simple :-)

i have recently completed the theory test,

and my advice to u is:

only press when u think a hazard is on its way like:

the back or front of a car poking out of a junction, a kid running, anything u think would cause a hazard.

u get more points for clicking the hazard in advance or quickly so what i say is

keep Ur wits Sharp

Treat the mouse as your main mirror.

When you are driving and see a hazard you would look in your mirrors. So, when you see a hazard on the PC click your mouse. Another mirror check to see what is happening behind then click your mouse.

A hazard is classed as; something that is going to make you change your speed/direction.

hiya, i have mine tomorrow as well lol

And yeah on the hazard awareness this bit is really easy,you just click whenever you see a hazard, like a man running across the road,a car parked badly etc. Its just like when your driving in real life make sure your aware of the surroundings and dont over click too. Usually there is only one hazard in each clip, one clip has 2 sometimes.

good advice from every one ie relax. remember that when you do the hazard perception you will be shown an example clip and instructed on exactly what to do, so chill out and the best of luck!

Dont click too much or you'll fail the test! Only click if you see a obvious or potential hazard! Parked cars are probably a hazard! I'd click them to be safe! Sharp corners also. Mini roundabouts maybe noy-only if their are other cars present! Just try to be logical, but like i said, dont go nuts and click to much!!

I really don't know how I got through that test because it's very much open to interpretation.

I don't remember seeing 'normal' road hazards such as junctions and roundabouts.  It was more to do with cars coming out of side-roads and junctions.

rather than stressing u r self out, chill out, do a quick revision summary tomorrow morning and stop stressing !!....you`l be fine..

Click whenever you feel that you must look in the mirror, adjust your speed and as quickly as possible.  There will be one hazard in each clip which will eveolve, the closer you get the more apparent the danger.

Don't just keep clicking though - you'll fail.  But click on all the above that you mentioned
