  1. I would highly recommend www.starfall.com.  Begin at the letter level to work on phonics and then work down.  I would also recommend you check with your City for programs that would encourage early language development courses and classes.  They are a great way to get her excited about learning and understanding the basics of phonics, etc.  I also highly recommend reading to her at night easy read (Level 1) books at night so they can start sounding out the letters it is the foundation for reading.

    Good luck!

  2. FunBrain.com,  enchantedlearning.com has worksheets you can print off for your cousin and  I know Disney.com is pretty good too.

  3. www.time4learning.com is a great site although you have to pay. Also try google... or going to the library.

  4. Try pbs.org

  5. www.kindersite.org  is a GREAT site!!

  6. You sound like you are trying to help.  I think that what you are trying to do is help with some of the academic skills needed for kindergarten. I think that it is great you are taking a interest. I do not know specifically a site like this but I am sure you will get many responses. I just wanted to tell you that I am happy to see you trying to help.

  7. Well, I don't think there is much a 4 year old "needs" to know.  Just as children all learn to walk and talk at different  times, they learn academic information at different times as well.

It is great that you're mom wants you to work with him and you're willing to do it.  This site has many fun activities that you can do with your cousin:

    Good luck!

  8. nickjr.com is a good site for young kids
