This morning we found a baby bird in a window well of the lower story of my house. Now when I say baby, I don't mean all pink and can't see yet. But it's still got down feathers ad I don't think it can fly. Now I figure it must have fallen in between the bars of the grate that covers the well. I took it off, but it didn't do anything. It's sleeping right now. I don't know what kind of bird it is, or how old it is. My guess is about a month. So anyway, I need to know what I should do. Should I leave it? (It'll probably starve...) I'm comfortable with going down there with gloves and taking it out. Yes, I know I can't get my scent on it or the mother won't want it back. So should I take it out? If so, where should I put it? There are possums around where I live that might eat it. Other than that I don't think there's anyt other threat besides starvation. What should I do???

  1. try getting him out with gloves to avoid getting ur smell on him or call animal control

  2. Get it and give it to animal control, they wont euthanize it they'll take care of it and release later into the wild
