There's a bat in my house!!!!!!!!?

Turn on your porch light and turn out all the lights in the house.  Then open the door to the porch and watch him fly out after the insects drawn to the light. (you turn off the inside lights so you don't draw the insects in the house.

Shut the bat int the room it is in with the light out and the window open. it should find its way out quickly enough. If it doesnt go it might be ill so you might need to phone your local bat group/handler to come and get it. Just dont freak out because you will stress the wee guy out. If it is really small it might be a pup thats strayed away when its mother is away feeding.
