There's a bird in my house!!!

Question

I accidentally left a door open and now there's a bird stuck in my house! How do I get him out without hurting him???

I highly doubt that you are going to be able to shoo him out without totally hurting it.

You need to call animal control.

They will come and get the bird and release it for free.

If you try to do it by yourself you are likely to injure the bird in some way.

Wild Birds are very delicate, and need to be handled by a proffesional.

open doors and windows and shoo it out with a broom.

Turn off all the lights, and open the doors and windows.

Leave the door open again...it should fly back out.

Open doors and windows and if all else fails grab him with a net. Can get net at dollar store. Even butterfly net will work. Another trick is to get a bowl of birdseed and open window and put on ledge inside. He will get hungry and go for it. Just watch no others come in. make sure to turn ceiling fans off if on and put cats away if have any. Good luck.

dont shooo him out with a broom!!! you can get a big sheet and lead him out of an open door and windows. try to cantian him in one room so he cant travel everywheere. goodluck
