There's a freaky bug in my room! help?!?

It's about an inch long & looks kinda like a centipede, but it can fly. And it won't die. What is it (no pics; hate bugs) & how do I kill it?

If it has long legs it is probably a house centipede.  A well placed shoe strike should do the trick.  They aren't dangerous but it could bite you.  They do kill other bugs so maybe you should welcome him as your personal bug assassin.

just capture it in a huge jar or container and put it outside.

okay what you do is go get a flamethrower and shoot flames at it.

next while it is stunned get a samurai sword and chop it up

then step on it

and lastly flush it
