  1. Anything Cat in the Hat. Some lovely person gave my kids the whole boxed set for a christening present. Now all I do is read cat in the hat all day. Exhausting work with all those tongue twisters in them, lol.

I actually posted a question over in polls and surveys one time:

"Could you, would you, with a goat?"

See, they are sending me mental, those cat in a hat books! The question went down well though, LMAO.

  2. my Daughter likes the Fairy books (rainbow fairies, party fairies etc)

my son has 3, trixie Beldon, Deltora Quest and beast Quest

    - Green Eggs & Ham <-- I know it off by heart

    - Hop on Pop

    - Fox In Sock

    - Mulberry Street

WE only own every book he has written.

  5. My kids like GoodNight Moon

lately we've been reading Learn To Read Books, level one and two.

  6. Well I don't have any kids but I can tell you what my favorite books to read when I was younger. I'm fifteen now and I remember the first book I learned to read was Goldie Locks and The Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood - but this was in German. I remember I would bring out my book into the living room, hop up on the couch and open the book up to start reading - my mom would be there to help me of course but I wanted to do this all on my own. Lol, I thought I was little miss independent. I read that book everyday until I could perfect every work, every sentence without hesitation - and one day I did. I remember being so excited and I just read the story to everyone in my family to show how I could read. Lol. So I think that was my favorite childhood story because it was my first book I learned to read!

But I think other children's books I liked were the Junie B. Jones series - oh god I would read those everyday I could get through those in an hour or two at least. I would not put down those books and when someone took the book from me or any students or my friends tried to interrupt me reading, I was not a happy camper, you didn't want to talk to me then.

Till this day, I still love to read however I prefer writing much more than reading. But I still do read a ton and I got a whole book shelf plus another space for my books to prove it! I love authors like Lisi Harrison, Cecily Von Ziegesar, Sarah Dessen, Jay Asher, and I love, love, love Lurlene McDaniel. I love stories with very sad, intense situations going on in the story and I can always find myself crying to one of Lurlene's books because it's that sad.

As for Cecily Von Ziegesar - well she's my guilty pleasure she provides a sort of sarcastic, fun, wild story for me everytime.

Whoo, this is getting long, I'm sorry for that I know you probably don't care much, but this question brought back so many memories and I thought it was kind of cute.
