I don't know how the bird got in... but the point is, it's IN!!! Now, how do I get it out?

All it does is bang against the window upstairs.

  1. Turn all the lights out, and open the front door so the bird will know the way outside.  You can also try to catch it in a net or maybe a  small blanket or towel so that you can safely set it free outside.

  2. You should try to get it out of the house by putting a box over it or something like that.  Then once it's outside then you can remove the box and see if it flies away.  If you don't want to take that chance of releasing a hurt bird then you can call your local vet and see what they have to say about it.  Good luck and I hope the hummingbird is OK!

  3. To get it out, buy a hummingbird feeder and put it outside, also open every window in your house.

  4. Maybe you should open your windows and doors.
