There's a pasture out the back covered with white mushrooms...?

They have brown gills, your standard mushroom shape and small very strongly of yummy mushroom. What kind are they? (UK).

  1. Do the young one have a narrow pointy cap? They are toxic, don't eat them.

  3. They sound like regular field mushrooms to me. The field mushroom is characterised by its habit of sprouting up in numbers in pasture. I have no doubt that they are safe.

  4. I'm a bit rusty on UK mushrooms so I took a look at this site. The death cap looks hard to mistake for a real mushroom.
