  1. You ll need to find out what the rate is going to be and consider the area you are in.  You can import clothes cheaply from India and open a fashion shop. Perhaps a newsagents if there isnt one nearby, they will hardly ever go out of business. A food shop or perhaps a delicatessen selling specialist food from a particular country. Maybe even a coffee shop. It really depends on what your area or the nearby shops have to offer, and you find the gap.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Unless you already have a strong business plan, I wouldn't go out and buy a shop. The market for real estate is good, and it will remain good, so I would wait until you have something and then look at purchasing real estate. Look at what is lacking in that area, coffee shop, specialty retalier, etc. And then go from there. There are many websites that can help you come up with a business plan. It's not just about having the store, you have to have capital to actually start up and run the business...

  3. no

  4. Completely depends on the are and the direct and indirect competition in the area!

  5. Sea side towns tend to depend on summer sales to survive. Need to write a business plan of what you can trade, what you are good or interested at and show how the business would run.
