I think it's a cavity. I haven't really had the best brushing habits but like a month or so ago I got this nice wake up call about my teeth(Fillings and such were falling out) and I think I have a small cavity on my bottom tooth it's kind of in between though and then there's that small brown spot I noticed today. i should call the dentist but my dental insurance for this year ran out! Will it get any bigger? How can I make it so it won't? I especially worry about my front teeth that people can see. It's rather sensitive, actually 2 of my front top teeth are both sensitive bu there only seems to be maybe 2 cavities on one of them? It seems the more I try to make my teeth healthier the worse they get.

  1. if you have a cavity you have to get it filled.  My brother had a very small one, now ( a little less than a  year later), it's completely black and chips of when he eats!!  I don't know what to do about the insurances though.  But if you do it now you'll be happy you did.  You can't stop it from getting bigger!  I hope I helped you, good luck!

  2. Teeth that have early signs of cavities can sometimes be re-mineralized but flouride rinses and brushing. Go to the store and get some flouride rinses (you can even get a presciption from your dentist for extra strength rinses). Floss, Brush, twice a day (but don't brush too hard b/c you mght even start wearing your teeth) and use your rinses as directed and you should be able to keep your cavities "neutralized" for now. Also drink a lot of water and stop eating sugary foods and drinking cokes.

  3. does you insurance renew come January? if so you can probably wait, but it will get bigger. If you can afford it, go to your dentist and have them only fix what is necessary, I waited and ended up with a root canal at $700 and on top of that you have to have a crown which is another $700 to $800. paying for a filling on your own is way cheaper, believe me.  get some fluoride rinse, it might slow down the decay.

  4. I can think of at least 3 things wrong with that title.

  5. It WILL have to be filled--period.
