There's a word that's on the tip of my tounge but it won't come out.. What is it???

I thought it was concession at first but I'm POSITIVE it sounds something like concession... I think it means "two or more people or parties to reach an agreement"

Actually, that is a definition of "concession."  Another word that sounds sort of like that and means about the same thing would be "compromise."
