There's lots of funny stuff of Encyclopedia Dramatica, but WTF is up with some of their pages?

I'm not jewish or anything, but some of their pages are really sad, like http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Holocaust. They have some funny stuff, but half of their stuff offends me. Can someone please explain the website more clearly to me?

If you go to the 4chan article, do not click on the "4chan Venn Diagram". It brings you to a ****** montage.

It's about internet drama, like in "Maybe the dingo ate your baby." Anything that pulls your string is fair game.

Encyclopedia Dramatica is a parody of an encyclopedia. Pages on Encyclopedia Dramatica are intentionally written in an offensive, politically incorrect, vulgar, or abusive manner. The whole point is to offend or upset people who don't realize it's satire. Nothing on the site should be taken seriously, and much of the humor can be pretty offensive even to people who understand its nature.
