There a round thing ( like the size of a air soft bb ) growing in the cartilage of my ear??

There a round thing ( like the size of a air soft bb ) growing in the cartilage of my ear ( where you usually get your ears pierced ). Is it just a hormone? should i be concerned ?

Ive been having round things about the size of a bb pop up in my earlobe for probably about 6 years now and im still alive. Sometimes it hurts, but its nothing serious im pretty sure.
