There a weird fish i caugt in the yough river in looks like a large shiner but it has teeth sharp what is it??

its shiny and its not a musky or pike or pikril its silver and black on top

It is probably a Gar.

I've found that the Alligator Gar you see in the wild have narrower noses than the one in the illustration, but it looks a lot like it anyway. This should help you determine what type of fish it actually is.

bowfin and  snakeheads have nice sharp teeth too but neiter of those nor the fish u said are silver so im not sure...do u have a picture of it?
