  1. ask the people wear you buy it from as you have to get it pumped out often,,depends on how much you use it,,

    page 31 refers to septic tanks but the whole document is useful in general.  septic tanks should have a min capacity of 2700 litres (up to 4 persons) with an additional 180 litres per extra person

  3. go with the larger one , you wont need to empty it often , if you use a lot of water it's even better for the solids to disintegrate and go into the septic bed .

  4. 1,000 gallons and depending on the soil type 350 feet or more of field live.

  6. Septic systems are usually determined by the number of bedrooms in a house, not the number of people. In Florida, a 3 bedroom house needed a 900 gallon tank. 4 bedroom was 1200 gallon.
