They look like they were just loosely cut with scissors or something, is it safe to just leave them? Are they an electric hazard that I should be concerned about?

  1. Coaxial cables are low voltage, so there is nothing to worry about, though keep in mind, if you are going to be using these cables for your television STB or cable modem, keep in mind this will cause big signal loss, which can cause static, a garbled digital image (imagine satellite in the rain), or a horrible unstable internet connection or digital phone connection (if you use any of those), so it would be a good idea to cut out the damaged part of coax, then get a short peice of coax cable to couple it back together

  2. WELL MAYBE.WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS FIND WERE THEY GO AND IF THEY ARE CONECTED TO A CABLE BOX CUT THEM OFF THERE AND TAPE THEM UP WITH BLACK TAPE.DONT JUST LEVE THEM.AM SHORE THEY WOULD BE FINE BUT BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY...................

  3. if its black coax they are more than likely cable or sky if they are brown then more then likely from an aerial either way they aren't going to cause you an injury unless you trip over them.
